" The Neil Pitts award of £100,000 took us a long way towards restoring the top three locks of the Junction Canal; but the Trust had to find another £20,000 to complete the work....
....and the Junction Canal is going to involve more expense...Since the water returned to the cut, leaks have developed which will involve piling and back filling with clay. Unless restoration funding becomes available in the very near future, DCT will have to find the resources to meet the bill.....
